Before you begin
This is a diagnostic rule-out aid. You present a case (subject, background, presentation); the system semantically searches the DSM-5-TR for candidate areas; an AI assistant then asks you focused questions to confirm or exclude each differential against full DSM-5-TR threshold criteria, and produces a downloadable report of surviving and ruled-out diagnoses. It does not recommend treatment.
For de-identified case discussion only — this system is not cleared to process PHI (protected health information).
Presented case
⚠ Please do not share any PII (personally identifiable information such as names, addresses, emails, etc).
⚠ Do not disclose names. Refer to people by their relationship to the subject — e.g. “the subject's mother” or “the subject's caregiver”.
⚠ Describe the subject only. Including characteristics of related people can cause invalid DSM-5-TR retrieval and misdiagnosis — keep this to behaviours observed in the subject. You'll be able to record how related individuals are affected by the subject on the next screen.
Other affected people
Add anyone materially affected by the subject's situation — this context is included in the formulation. Optional; you can skip straight to analysis.

DSM-5-TR areas to assess
Not diagnoses. These are sections of the DSM-5-TR surfaced by semantic overlap with the case — starting points the rule-out process will confirm or exclude.
